Friends of the
Island Free Library
The Island Free Library has an active Friends group that shares a common belief that the library is important to the intellectual and cultural growth of the community. They work to increase public awareness of all the library services and raise funds for special needs and programs.
Their present activities include book sales, holiday events, children’s programs and the Bake, Book & Bloom Sale in the spring and fall. They also provide many volunteer man-hours in the library acting as library aides.
The Friends of the Island Free Library meet at 10:30 am on the third Wednesday of the month. For more information or to join please call the library at 466-3233.
